We had a brilliant day exploring the West Coast of Vancouver Island with our tour guide Noemie on a personalised tour. She took the time to find out what things we wanted to see during the day and planned an itinerary for us.We learned a lot about the ecosystems of the temperate rainforest and the different plant & animal species, especially the giant Western Red Cedar trees. We loved seeing a river otter which caught an eel, seals, a bald eagle & having a look for sea creatures in tidal pools. Lunch on the beach watching the seals & otter was a great experience! She also gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our stay. Can’t recommend this tour enough, it was one of the highlights of our trip.

Noemie was a great guide! The Big West Coast Tour allowed us to see hidden gems we never would’ve seen on our own. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a day hiking adventure from Victoria.

Best tour ever. The tide pools were out favourite but everywhere was fun and interesting and Noemie was a fantastic guide. Definitely recommend this tour and wish we could come back and do more soon!

Do you have to pay us a fee?

No, our fees are covered as a commission from the operators, which means that our partners offer us a commission on booking your trip with them. The prices we quote are final and include taxes.

Do we choose for you?

Each trip is curated to YOUR interests and budget. We can work with anything from $100 a day to $ 10,000 a day.

We offer guided excursions through Island Trails Ecotours, but you do not need to book with us to have us plan your trip.

From Whale Watching to the West Coast Trail and from car rental to bus service, we cover every option and every accommodation style from camping in a tent to staying in the best hotels, all at a friend’s and family rate.
